ANG Kart exists to help you make better everyday buying decisions. That only works if you can trust what we publish. This page explains how we choose products (the step-by-step process lives on our How We Test page), how we evaluate them, how we make money, and what we do when we get something wrong.
How we choose what to cover
Topics come from three places: questions readers send us, gaps we notice while researching a category, and products we use in our own homes. We do not accept payment to feature a product, and brands cannot buy placement in our guides. If a brand sends us a sample, we say so in the article.
How we test and evaluate
Not every product in every roundup has been through hands-on testing, and we will not pretend otherwise. Our guides combine three layers of evaluation:
- Hands-on use — products our writers own or have used in their own homes, kitchens, gardens and travel bags. First-person observations in an article always come from real use
- Specification and claim checking — we verify materials, dimensions, capacities and manufacturer claims against official documentation, and flag specs that do not add up
- Aggregated owner feedback — we read large volumes of verified buyer reviews to find failure patterns and long-term durability issues that short-term testing cannot reveal
When a recommendation is based on research rather than hands-on use, the wording reflects that. We do not invent test results.
Who writes our guides
Every article is written by a named author with subject experience — you can read their background on their author page, linked from every post. Nothing on this site is published anonymously. Our current team covers home and kitchen, gardening, travel, fitness and wellness, technology, pet care, and gifting.
Who we are
Every ANG Kart article carries a byline, and every byline is a real area of expertise. You can see everything each writer has published on their author page:
- Linda — home décor, kitchen organization and gardening; writes from her own home and garden projects
- Duke Robert — travel gear and packing; 12+ years of trips across Southeast Asia, Europe and the Middle East
- Eunice — fitness and wellness; 10+ years helping people build sustainable health habits
- Alad — technology; hands-on reviewer of laptops, e-readers and everyday gadgets
- John — pet care; 7+ years evaluating products for dogs and cats
- Emma Collins — beauty, personal care and gifting
How we make money
ANG Kart participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates program. If you buy something through a link on this site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Two things this never changes: the price you pay, and the products we recommend. Commissions do not influence rankings — a product that pays a higher commission gets no advantage in our guides.
Corrections and updates
Prices, stock and product versions change constantly. We periodically re-check published guides and update or remove recommendations that no longer hold up. If you spot an error — a wrong spec, a dead link, a product that disappointed you — tell us through our contact page. Substantive corrections are made directly in the article.
What we will not do
- Publish sponsored content disguised as independent recommendations
- Let a brand review or approve an article before publication
- Recommend a product we would not suggest to a friend with the same budget
- Use fake countdown timers, inflated “original” prices, or other pressure tactics
